well it's about a 5 hour drive for me to get to oco or around that area so it would have to be at least a 2 day event

 

Man I can't wait till the next meet

 

i wouldnt be at all opposed to a march meet.

 

Left superstition @ 9:40 home @ 2pm and took her to get a bath before I even showered....

Well it was an awesome time with fellow TW and socaltacoma peeps. As most you know I'm still out here with my girl. It so quiet out here. Where is everyone? Got a sweet fire going again. Can't wait to wheel with all you again someime

 

We went trough the salt bed!

 

Yes it's real smooth with a few sandy spots, got up to 80 on the way back. I'll try to post the video on the GoPro camera.

 

It was good seeing you guys again. Wish I would have had more time to hang out with you guys. Its quite clear to me that I need a lift before I start hitting it hard again. I had a blast though.

 

Glad I went! Had a blast. I really like that place. A lot of sand. I think I may have missed talking to a few of you. So if I missed ya then next time! For those that did't make it....cough Matt, Jonny, others cough.....you missed out. I will post up pictures in a bit. They are only cell phone ones but better than nothing!


Oh and by the way, I really think we need more organization next time. Not Jakey poo's fault.
Suggestions:

1. Copies of agenda for each day. That way at anytime you will know the whereabouts of where we are. Planned runs at certain times so we know when we leave. That sort of stuff.

2. If we all park in a big circle next time we can be more of a group. All our tents can be just on the inside next to the trucks. Then in the middle a few fires at night so we can all be in one spot. If your anti-social.....ummm idk.

3. If someone has a loud siren/bullhorn/whatever they are called that would be perfect. It can get everyones attention. We could also announce certain things as "10 minutes til group leaves on trail run #2!"

4. Less beer. More variety. I brought a 36 pack and somehow came home with 43 beers. It was nice for us to all share coolers. But I think we need more juices, gatorades, water etc.

5. I think it would be awesome if we did something to identify us as part of the group on our trucks. Maybe a big sticker for a side window. Or even if we made an effort to run a flag like Albert did. Maybe have the same flag.

Some of that may be a little corny. However, I think it would make the next trip even better!

Despite this, it was still a great trip. Can't wait til the next!
