    You're complaining about mpg now ...... 4.88s will not help you unless you do very little to zero highway driving. 4.56s are much better. And if you swap diffs yourself you come out paying like $400 per axle
    Yeah do not get a lunchbox or full time locker in the front. You will break a cv axle first hard turn you take on concrete. Haha

    Yeah the one I got is like a worm thing so it bends easy and it's just twisted to where it's nice and comfy up in the corner

    Go with a selectable locker in the front. You do not want a locker that you can not control up there. It makes driving on the street a pita. Arb/Ox/e locker are the best for a daily driver. Either that or buy stock in replacment cb axels. From my days racing in the bogs of south la it is really easy to snap a cv being locked up front even with up graded axels.

    True trac
    The Truetrac operates as a standard or open differential under normal driving conditions, allowing one wheel to spin faster or slower as necessary. When a wheel encounters a loss of traction or the terrain changes, the gear separation forces take effect and transfer torque to the high-traction wheel. The helical-shaped gears mesh with increasing force until wheel spin is slowed or completely stopped. When the vehicle exits the low traction situation, the differential resumes normal operation.

    It will drive you nuts. I got one on my work truck.

    I average 21mpg on my V6. That's mostly highway driving at 60-70 mph.

    oh, by the way.
    I tried some foaming carpet cleaner last night and thought I had it taken care of.

    Today it smelled like I was driving a rotting carcass with a hint of Febreeze.
    I had to hose myself down with cologne when I got to work.

    I tried a different cleaner tonight, lots of water rinse, shop vac the fahk out of it all, rubbed a box of baking soda into the carpet, and left an open bowl of baking soda in the seat.

    If it soaked into the carpet it also soaked into the padding underneath. You need to take the carpet out to clean the padding.

    You don't have to but that is the quickest way minus taking it to a professional you are going to get the smell out. I had a friend I picked up from the bar throw up in the mustang.

    85.00 later simoniz had taken the whole interior out of the car and pulled the carpet and deep cleaned it. There 5 drinks ended up costing them 115.00 after it was all said and done with.

    I used to get that in my v6.... Then I added armor, winch, big tires... Now I get about 15-17 City and about 17-19 highway.

    Really. I could average that if I drove 60 more often. And the difference in our trucks is the armor, tires, and gears. The difference in 33s to 35s is literally 3 mpgs. The difference in street tires or less aggressive tires and mud tires is 2-3 mpgs. The difference in the armor between weight and aero dynamics is 2-3 mpg and the difference in the gear ratio is 1-2. I guarantee no one is getting better mpg then me with all the exact same mods and driving habits. Ask the other v6 guys with similar stuff done. Haha

    You must've spilled a lot more then you originally thought. I know it will come out. You can get anything out of fabric with the right tools and effort. Haha

    So what you're saying is (with simple math IF I understand the statement) that I will get 12-13 mpg city if I left my gears at stock ratio and slapped on some 35's. But will gain back up to 13-14,15-16 mpg city by upgrading gears to 4:56.

    Are you saying I will be at 12-13 mpg city with 35's and then add gears and I will be down to 10-12- mpg city....
