maybe if he was not going to trade. also it has the damn ticking sounds. the timing or something is off. also it has over 200k on it. i’d rather just supercharge my V6.

i like the idea. just not the coast and the damn ticking it has. and yes a supercharged 4.0V6 has more HP than the 4.7v8.

Hmmm....my dads and grandfathers tundras never ticked? That I could tell anyways but I know for a fact our trucks tick! I pull through a drive through and it sounds terrible! I can even here it over my exhaust, it annoys the crap out of me! But I just wish I had that amazing deep, low rumble of a v8.

i've got an idea...swap the 4.7 into the taco...then supercharge it!

while you're on that route, why don't you just drop in a cummins and be done with it.

I like the cummins itself but I hate dodge, the trucks are ugly , transmissions don't hold. I like a duramax tho. In all honestly if america would just allow the toyota hilux over here I'd be all over it like white on rice son. They are BEAUTIFUL trucks and very powerful. I've done a lot of research and to even get one legally in the states in all costs about 100k.

yeah a agree! and yeah. they are very nice. have a fully boxed frame. more towing and hauling than we do.

really? some one here owns or works for a company that, will put the D4D in a taco for like 20k or 25k.

lol thats way too much.... for that price you can just do you a inline 5 bens swap yourself. there is a DIY out there for it, I've found it before and it's MORE powerful then the d4d.
