Dammit. Knew I should've checked here earlier. On the bright side, I found out today I'll be back Tuesday for 6 days of training. Then hopefully I'll get put on orders for 30 days of training after that, but we'll see.

 

Any of you open diff guys done the yellow wire mod? If so, check out my thread below and weigh in. I'm lost as last years Easter egg at the moment.

You mind me asking what you do in the guard? I might be looking for guard opportunities in TN after a few months....possibly.

 

Not at all, I'm an aircraft mechanic. Electrical and environmental shop. We have KC-135's here in Knox

I can work them if I'm in the right unit, every e&e guy dreams of getting that assignment lol so much less shit for us than normal aircraft. Cabin pressure, cabin cooling/heating, all nullified because open doors haha. They have them in GA but I'm not sure about guard

Yeah. I thought about it, but i didn't want to wait forthe next group buy, but i liked the spot and design concept, so i made my own out of materials i had.

 

His is nice and all but price is up there for what it is. And he's not a local member. Gotta support the locals before anyone.

Spotted this early cruiser in Knoxville this afternoon. Right hand drive makes me think it wasnt offered in the states possibly. Very cool none the less.



I assume it has that 22re-t or whatever that came in some of the pick ups.

Who's making panels like mine locally?

I've been trying to get the price down, but adding the cost to make and materials, switch holder, aluminum handles/ SS Torx bolts, and PayPal fees, it doesn't leave much for my time to debur and ream the holes.

If anyone wants a cheaper model without handles and holder I can do a run of those for a lot less.
