Looks like a problem. You need to run power into the switch then out to the relay. The relay coil is terminals 85 and 86, so put the output of the switch to one and ground the other. Power from the blue sea should go to terminal 30, then out to the lights from 87.

 

That makes sense, I was reading the flow of power the wrong direction. (I thought it was flowing from battery, in terminal 30, out 86, into the switch. But now I see it runs independently from battery to 30 AND battery to switch to 86).

So does this mean that for every 1 item I want added to the blue sea im going to have to utilize 2 POS on the blue sea (1 to the relay and 1 to the switch?)

 

The more I sit here and look over the schematic I used and compare it to yours and to what I actually did, it makes total sense now. I had everything right but that stupid jumper (i over looked the switch needing pwr direct from the ignition wiring or the battery)

Have any of you tapped directly into the IGN wiring in the truck for lights or does everyone go from the blue sea or battery?

 

The coil only uses a small amount of juice so you can run several switches and coils from the same feed using a smaller wire.

 

does this mean I can devote one POS prong on the blue sea to one switch, then jump that one POS wire over multiple switches

 

I went from the blue sea cause I want to be able to run stuff with the engine off if necessary.

 

ok, thats how the last set up of the ditch lights were. I could turn them on whenever I wanted since it went straight to the BATT

 

Yes. I have a 15amp fuse and a 14ga feed that runs my switches and relays for several things.

 

Murph, i dont know you, but if it werent for you and adam right now (with the assistance of gideon early on) I would not have figured this out tonight. New wheels or put on wheel spacers. You could always work out a deal on giving me the Kings and go long travel.

 

Wheel spacers will be the cheapest option, then wheels (it would have to be some thing like 2.5 b.s.), then you have long travel which is like 5-7k depending on the kit

 

Here is my stance with 1.5" wheel spacers and 4" b.s. wheels

 

265 on stock wheels top and 315 with a 4.5" back spacing bottom.
