The 10th then. I leave for ATL the 11th, and the 17th is the AOP trip, then the next two weekends are full for me.

 

Yeah that should work. What time would be better? This far out I can move my work schedule around.

Hey what's up TN fellas? I'm headed that way on the 17th of OCT and was wondering if there are any trips or meets going on near Sparta area.

 

That weekend there is one about 90 min away in South Pittsburgh.

 

Should be a good one, I'm prepping everything I can for this trip haha

I wouldn't wish a trip to Sparta, TN on anyone. But I'm a county over in cookeville. You can follow me to the meet if you'd like and you decide to go. I pass through Sparta on the way back to Chattanooga.

 

Sarah has family that live in Sparta. There sure ain't much there besides Fall Creek Falls which is just some big ass waterfalls but a beautiful place to hangout at

The reason for coming up to TN is my wifes grandpa lived in cookeville area but passed not too long ago and they are auctioning off his house and his farm equiptment. So I figured while I was up in the area we could hit up some trails.

Yeah last time I was there we went to the falls. They were pretty but that's all there is around.lol

 

First off, Mike: I want that flag (Gideon cough cough)
Second, since this weekend I have been busy filling my idle time with little projects because there has been nothing else to do while I wait for the trip to AOP so this is what happens...

Installed my rear lights and got them all wired up. Theyll be great for camping and off roading.....and for people who decide to ride my bumper

I then added 15hp by painting the engine cover (yes I was that bored)

And today I changed the spark plugs in under 1 hour (amazing feat for myself). Then when I cranked the truck before I put all the tools away, it had a terrible idle and sounded like what I thought was missing cylinders from actioning. next then I knew, the ultragauge gave a pending P0300 (random misfire) code. went back and I knew I tightened all the plugs down to 15 ft/lbs, secured the thing that goes over top the plug and plugged them in (but I rechecked the plug in piece). then noticed one of the 4 lines I disconnected still wasnt connected haha....plugged it in and cranked, sure enough she sounded as smooth as ever...those damn evap lines. Good lesson learned though

Bummed I'm not going to make the AOP trip to meet you guys, but I'm kind of getting married that day. Virgin Falls in Sparta is way better than Fall Creek Falls also.
