    Started to replace everything, found out my jack stands were too short. Put the tires back on and went and bought new jack stands. Got one leaf pack off and the top nut on my factory shock is stripped and just spinning the shaft. Can't find my pliers. Fuck

    Does it have a spot where you can put an allen key in the shaft to hold it? Mine did that when I removed them

    I don't see one. I think I figured something out though. You saying that go me looking and it looks like the very top of the shaft is squared off for an adjustable wrench or something

    Just kidding, I got about 1/2 turn out of it and then the top of the shaft sheared off. Might have to just cut these fuckers out

    are you going to just chuck those shocks? If so, cut the "boot" off with a razor blade/box cutter, and get some vise-grips and just hold the shaft with them. And don't be dirty with the "hold the shaft" line :rolleyes:

    That's exactly what I did. I had to borrow the vice grips from my neighbor so he came and held my shaft for me. I've never seen shocks this blown. Lmao. Everything is out and I'm about to start putting everything in.

    Got everything in and did quite a bit of driving. Didn't put the brake lines in though, just bent and spaced the brackets which actually gave me more than enough room. Rear end rides like a dream, now to do the front end here soon. Ordered a drive shaft spacer though to correct for the lift height, but learned that I have the hookup on driveshafts and could have a single piece or with a slip yoke built for ~300 and not have to worry about a carrier bearing or anything anymore

    I had a couple beers with him. And taught him how to jump the starter solenoid on his zero turn mower after it took a shit in his drive way lol my truck is about to look even worse, back to stock headlights for a bit after new discoveries in a Wal mart parking lot last night.     Oh no shit. So when we were talking about your headlight being tilted down, that clearly wasn't a good thing. Haha and it's those 55w ballasts. People have had problems with that
