Yeah you right. I could also just leave it. If its not touching my ring gear, which I'd know by now, then it ain't hurting nothing. I'll take a pic of it when I get home

And Daniel I got a few pics for you to point out what armor you really use while doing what we do. You decide what looks important .....

This isnt all from 1 trip but I had repainted my skids, front bumper and sliders before this past trip.

Front bumper importance ....... You can see the ifs skid importance as well seeing how one is completely gone. Haha .....

    8e407ad510c39ef64bd54f2d9f2b5e99_adba0fc4e8cb47dd939a8f0ba3c28666149e1c30.jpg

Ifs slid importance ...... And trust me when I say it's hard to tell how jacked up this thing is ......

    52999f551e449e98d9d9852a182b6ade_227b90e8f540e29b76232576f4d22755b23da111.jpg

Sliders importance ...... This dent is on the very outside and about 1/3 crushed in (1.75 x .120 wall HREW) .....

    17cbf3af1f0b8775db19fadef500f9d3_1f28673040c784f878ca44423d07f91855e0445e.jpg

This dent is on the very bottom leg directly next to the stock tcase skid (2" x 2" x .120 wall square tubing) .....

    a7803a1bdf7b24606d72f4212c49ccc6_ab78f10d308c323c5003597f40c65ecee1d1aa0f.jpg

And this is where a tcase skid would go to replace this undamaged stock skid (16g sheet metal) .....

    b9ecdec52f67b855c7f0576ef8df6904_973fa1b81b3f633a00c28c0b841b76fe7b87910c.jpg

And this is where a trans skid would go to replace this completely invisible stock skid that apparently does a fantastic job .....

I crushed my transfer case skid this past trip along with my exhaust that goes under the trans.
Put a few more bed side dents in the body along with the front fender. Nice dent in the drive shaft and a small dent on my axle tube it's self

    Haha yeah I try

Yeah you did. And your truck is also different then 99% of people that wheel tacomas. Well maybe 98% cause of Jeremy. Lol
I could post a lot more info about what is "needed" and what isn't. That was a quick and sweet version hopefully providing a good visual for Daniel to make an informed decision if he wants to buy something he "needs" first.

You may be right. Actually you probably are right. But don't try that bullshit. Your trucks wheelbase is a foot longer then everyone elses. You have a centering problem. Guess what's near the center. I don't wanna hear your crap arguments.

LR UCA set for sale. 40k miles of mostly highway from my prerunner. Good condition as best I could tell. I just want to try something different this time.

    $260 plus shipping costs.
I'll be driving to Atlanta in a few weeks so could meet for pickup anywhere along the way (Nashville, Chatt, ...).

Letting you all have 1st dibs before posting in buy/sell section.

I've had to replace both of my LR ball joints with about 20k on them. I'll be going a different route next time instead of replacing ball joints.

This one is mainly for you as I know you listen to music while you work.

I just bought Katie and I one, and they are awesome. Anyone who doesn't work in a heated environment should check them out

Haha, I have two of these. They work great as long as it's not too loud where you work. The sound is good, not headphones good, but good. I have to conceal my tunes and wear earplugs so I also run Plugfones with a hidden bluetooth (also from Plugfones). They give the best sound quality in my opinion while blending in with my work uniform. Also run a bone conduction rig I integrated into my company uniform baseball cap. Sound quality is so so but it wins 007 points for being completely invisible with an open ear.

Amazon beanie battery runs 3.5hrs, Plugfones BT runs 10 hrs+ and is the size of a sharpie cap, bone conduction runs 4hrs but gets uncomfortable way before that lol

Funny. Camburg BJ type is what i was thinking. How have they held up?

Beertime, how did you know LR BJ were bad? 20k seems really low miles.

Had a a lot of noise up front, like clunking. Jacked it up and shook it down. Found crazy amount of play at upper ball joint. When I got it off it had no grease, just muddy water. It was so bad on both sides I can't believe the ball didn't pull out of the socket.
May do Camburg UCA'S next go round. Haven't really looked at my options yet. .......may go LT :anonymous:

Well they're Levi's right now, I still have stock UCA's lol. But if they survived being on Levi's truck then I'm gonna assume they're pretty damn good UCA's
