Gid, Do you think it's possible with an aggressive cab mount chop and some fender trimming to fit 285's on 2" of lift?

Yea. Remember that white extended cab that came down with homer taco to march lbl? He was on 285's with no lift and an aggressive cab mount chop.

Yeah. From what he said, he did all the clearancing for what would have to be done for 35's on a 3".... he just did it at stock height for 285's.

I don't think he touched the firewall though. At least from what I heard talking to him and Craig.

March 4-6 or 18-20. Those are the two choices. Of coarse the first weekend is the normal dates but the question is do y'all want to take the chance of the park being closed and riding in 1' of snow or have a much better chance of the park being open and riding it? I'll make the thread this weekend so tell me what you think ......
I ran BFG KM 285s with no cab mount chop, stock front bumper and about 3" of lift. All I did was trim the edges of the fender flares and front bumper. I have pics of my truck like that but I dont have any of the cab mount not cut. I had 16x8 -12mm offset wheels and ran somewhere in the 3° caster range. And yes, I off-roaded the crap out of my truck

How high are you now? I won't judge ..... Haha but you are gonna have problems with staying low with 63s without some extra weight. It really depends on your shackle length but even with short shackles it will sit high with no weight. You could remove the overload but you really need a track bar if doing so. 3 leafs with no overload and nothing to combat axle wrap is just asking for twisted leafs. I've seen it happen.

The caster is another problem. I'm on stock uppers so I don't think I'll get much more than 2 degrees. Going in for an alignment this week. I'm thinking the 255's might be the way to go.

I don't fuckin remember. Point is it can be done.
    I vote 18th - 20th
you'll be fine on 285's. Remember, i was at 2.5 on 285's with very little rubbing and did very little trimming.

I'm in for either date unless I am presented with the opportunity of a date with a woman. That is really the only thing that would prevent me from being there.

Im somewhere around 2.5-2.75 I'd like to be around 2 in the front, and 3 in the rear with a pretty aggressive shackle angle.. going with 5in shackles. Im okay with going higher in the front if the 63s give me a substantial amount of lift.. just gotta get them on and see what I end up with
