    I'll give you some advice that you may or may not want to listen to at this moment in your off-road/ truck career ....... Don't make your truck fit your parts, make your parts fit your truck. If you have to modify any part of your truck to get something to work then you are making your part fit your truck. Production vehicles in general aren't meant to put bigger/ different length parts on them. If you want 285s, make them fit. If you want 44s, make them fit. I have a hard time with someone telling me "that will never work" and using that as a general term. It WILL work if you make it work. How more time and effort goes into that is something else.

    I've been running 35s, 1 1/2" spacers and 1.5° caster for like 3 years now with a VERY MINIMAL cab mount chop and I only rub at the ride bump and right steering angle. Anyone who has ridden with me on a trail can tell you that and I've told y'all my caster numbers numerous times. Now that changed with the beadlocks and recent destruction of my cam tabs and lca bushings. Haha but anyway 285s are so fuckin easy to make fit it's just ignorant to think otherwise.

    How did you decide on 5" shackles? And yeah you def will just have to find out. You can also add/subtract leafs with other leafs. Only the main leaf is long. The others are no different then the leafs on our truck (may be a different width though but you see what I'm saying).

    5" is what everyone I've seen use. Seems to give the best shackle angle, but I can make some shorter ones when I get everything tacked in if it's not what I'm looking for. I figured between my pack now, and my chevy pack has an aal with it I can try a lot of different combinations

    I've had TC cam gussets and new energy suspension lca bushings will be here tom. I've also ordered new axle boots for both sides as my gorilla tape finally started leaking. Haha but I have yet to fix anything on my truck.
