    This is great advice. Honda 4 cyl engines and trans are easy top 5 most reliable engine/drivetrains ever made. Parts are everywhere, they are very very easy to maintaine and work on. Here's my short list off the top of my head of cars I've seen multiple times with a few thousand miles on

    Isuzu trooper, Geo tracker, Geo metro (3 cyl), Toyota rav 4 (any year), Honda civic (any year/ model ever made) Honda accord (any year/ model ever made) Nissan 240 (with ka24), BMW E36, older VW, Toyota corolla (any year/ model ever made) Toyota pickup 2wd

    I drive a lot of miles on 40. I still get the height but slightly better fuel economy than a 285. It seems like a pretty good compromise.
