Are they? You just pick up a kit from home depot or something? I use a lot of Lenox bits at work that last awhile. Unless I'm drilling stainless. Sometimes I need multiple bits for 1 hole. Remember when drilling, slow speed and a lot of pressure. Lube if you got it but it's not necessary unless on stainless. Slow speed saves the bits life and the pressure makes it cut fast.

Cobalt drills over priced at big stores. I get them at Russel Hardware off millbranch for about half the price of Lowe's/HD. That place is great.

 

Wait, I thought you couldn't remove your spacers. What changed?

 

Figured out that when we tried to put them on, my buddy had the jack directly under the LCA and it wouldn't allow the wheel to sit flush with the hub. Seeing as I was trying to hold a 100# tire and line it up, when he said " its touching the spindle" I just said fuck it and threw the spacer on there.

The hood pin switch I ordered for my under hood light still hadn't shipped today so I cancelled my order. I took Dave's advice and stopped by Best Buy. The guy working on cars in the back gave me one for FREE! The LED strip I'm using draws 0.36A. What size fuse do I need?

 

0.36A at what voltage? I'm assuming 12v, but it could be rated at 14.4v. It honestly shouldn't matter because it's so low. Just about any low amperage fuse you find would work. 5 is probably going to be the most commonly available low amp rated ATC fuse, but you can find 3s sometimes too.

So at 12v, it will draw 4.32w which is why it is .36a. At 14.4v, which is where most alternators charge, give or take a bit, if it still has a 4.32w draw, it will lower to .17a. So pretty much ANY fuse you put on it will work. I find it odd that it's a 4.32w LED though. It would make more sense to me if it was 9w of LED rated at 14.4v to give .36a, but what do I know...

I just installed some LED stuff. Pulled power from interior light line which I think is on either 3 or 5 amp itself already. I added a 1 amp on new stuff to protect in case I screwed up wires or something.
