Dang I really like that stance. What don't you like about the lift? Is the angle on the axles too great?

 

Can't get alignment without rubbing the cab due to the castering caused by the 3+ lift, angle destroys my UBJS when fully drooped, SOS flip is functional but looks like my wife welded it.

 

Dang that stinks. What do you plan on changing your lift to? (If you plan on changing it)

 

I hung a plate bumper and winch on it, full skids, and doubled the battery weight. settled down to about 3" .

 

Yea I'm running 36s lol a lot of work but it's worth it to me. I had icon front shocks at 3" and did a ato shackle flip with all pro stand leafs did a custom shock setup

So did Adam tell anyone why he can't come to lbl? I didn't put 2 and 2 together from his lifestyle change thread, unless he's implying working out and eating healthy means he has no time for off road meets. Ive been doing all 3 for 8 years now without a problem. Haha

 

Pretty much he just doesn't really want to off-road that much anymore, he doesn't want to drive 6 hours to have to ride with someone.

 

Pretty much. Not to mention the last 7 months I have dedicated almost 99% of my life to my new lifestyle. So I'm taking my left over vacation to spend time with my family. The whole off roading and and fixing up the truck or whatever you want to call it. Has to take a back seat. I'm not saying I'll never be into again. I've made a lot of good friends and people I would gladly give it all up for. But for now I'm working on something much more important so in 20-30 years I'm still around.

 

Well cool man. Do whats important to you and makes you happy. None of my best friends or people I hang out with (that I have met not through tw) even offroad and that makes them no less of a friend to me.

I find many things in life equally as important to me as the other and get bored very quickly with something I get a lot of. That's why by Sunday morning at our meets I'm ready to leave. Haha but offroading is a hobby to me. Going on these trips makes it harder for me to live my lifestyle. I find that a "lifestyle" isn't something you have to make yourself do but rather it's just what you do. It's very hard to make a lifestyle change as you are literally changing things you have done your entire life and trying to tell yourself you care about something different now. Living healthy can not be a hobby, it has to be a lifestyle. I'm sure once you reach a point where you wake up in the morning and there's no thought to eating fruit and oatmeal for breakfast instead of McDonalds then you will find it easier to focus more back on your hobbies. In the meantime, just don't disappear.

 

Went and saw dead pool on lunch. It was mehhhhh I'm glad I had a free movie pass in my truck because I wouldn't have paid for it.

 

You're the first person I've heard give it anything but a positive review. What was it that you didn't like about it? Were you a fan of the comics? Other "superhero/x-men" movies? Just curious for a different perspective.

Yep I am off today also and going to be working on the trailer too. So much to do so little time.

 

I found it more funny then I thought it was goin to be. Comedy from the opening credits to the last scene. It's very violent and gory and it has constant vulgarity and smartass humor at its highest level. There's about 3 mins of the movie that's serious/sad. The rest is killing, shit talking and dirty jokes. He refers to himself in third person, he talks to the camera, he knows he's in a "superhero" movie, he makes fun of the movies production, he makes fun of the X-Men, ....... It's got everything in it that the comic had. In my opinion, it was perfect.

I'm not a comic book reader, never have been, but i watched all the cartoons as a kid. Deadpool was not a favorite of mine and I have no bias towards any comic book character and it wouldn't effect me at all if I never saw a comic movie. This movie was right up my alley though just from a not serious aspect. I found it refreshing as all the other comic movies are mostly serious with some comedy. Only thing I found disturbing was when I saw it in the theatre, there were multiple 10 and under year old kids in there. It's a VERY grownup movie and kids should not be sitting through movies with tits and ass and constant vulgar pussy jokes.

This was almost my exact take on the movie as well, but replace 10 year olds with 60 year olds who were awesome.
