I only use the cans of plasti dip that DYC (dip your car) sells. They spray and coat a lot better than any other type of plasti dip I've used. Yea a lot has to do with peeping the surface your covering as well.

 

So 13 V6 trd sport, I need to change my front and rear diff fluid since it was due at 30k and I'm 500 from 40k now, what do yall recommend to put back in it?

 

Gear oil

 

Don't forget the transfer case. I use amsoil, but that's just a personal preference.

What weights? Just whatever is recommended in the manual?

 

The manual says 75w 85,

75w 90 works. Just buy the mobil 1 or amsoil.

 

Sweet thanks. Never dealt with any gear oils so just wanting to make sure I do it right. I figured I'd change them since it's on the 30k checklist, and my truck spent 4-6 months out of a year for 2 years in 4hi when I lived in AK.

 

I'm about to change mine for the first time too. I stuck my finger in the rear diff yesterday, and it's still clean/looks new. But I'm going to change it anyway.

I have been busy in the garage the past two weeks every chance I can get. Wife is getting mad because I'm not hanging out with her or my son. He comes out to help every now and then. Making progress but is is slow. There is always something I want to add or tweak it never ends. I will have to wait to paint it from the looks of time until after LBL. Working on fenders now and still need to get the top and tailgate welded up. Plus put floor and sides in it. Then pack which shouldn't take too long. So much to do so little time.

 

Same with my new bumper... I changed designs about 4 times on how I wanted the tubing to flow.

 

I can't even put in to words the problems I've had. I've literally worked on my truck every single day for the past 3 weeks. I stopped working out every day to instead work on truck stuff. Fuck lca ball joints. Fuck lca bushings. Fuck building trs headlights!! Fuck building trs headlights!!! Fuck building trs headlights!!!! Fuck breaking/rebuilding your grill. And fuck that diff breather, just cause!
