I'm fine with the way you talk. It just so happens to be I too am from TN and have southern slang. There are many things in life that annoy me. My own verbiage is not one of them

It is a CBI.

I put the high lift, axe, and shovel on it this morning, and threw the spare tire on top for now. Spare won't stand up under the rack like I hoped it would, so I guess I'll be getting a bumper with a tire carrier at some point.

 

There are 3 things you need to make a Tacoma look an expo rig ....... a bed rack, a rtt and a bumper with a tire gate. You basically just built a jeep. Haha

 

I'm not crazy about having the spare on the bumper, so I'm working on trying to figure something else out for that before I commit to it. It's fine on top of the rack, but the times I have a RTT tent up there, that obviously won't work.

 

I refuse to put a tire gate on my truck for that reason.

 

Where do you keep your spare? I'm putting an air tank under the bed, so I don't think I'll have room in the stock location. Times like these I wish I had a long bed...

 

Swingout bumpers look awesome, but I couldn't handle it. It would be a three step process to access the bed. Swingout, shell hatch, tail gate. No time for that. It would be different if I didn't have a shell so I could just reach over the bedside. Not that any of that matters because its not my truck in question, and you don't have a shell. I'm going to stop rambling now. Good day!

 

I was looking at bumpers with tire carrier but not sure if I like how high the tire sits. It's a nice idea but I like visibility out back and need bed space so sortof stuck in stock spare location.

 

I've got friends from the Memphis area that are always correcting my pronunciations of certain words.

 

Anybody need a cheap soft top? Not mine, just looks like a good deal if anybody is in the market.

Well right now I have the stock spare

BUT I did just pick up a 285 spare tire and I'm gonna find a rim for it. I'll prob just keep it in the bed. Maybe I'll mount it on the brute force fab rack if I ever get one

 

Emailed the guy on the soft topper. Hopefully he replies soon because j will go get that thing in morning

 

I would have bought it I'm closing on our house next week and things have been crazy.

 

He hasn't messaged me back yet so not getting hopes up. In other news got my color run e packet today. My stuff should be here tomorrow. Super excited
