Whoever helped him put his water pump on fucked up. Pretty bad too. It sat on the trail all day yesterday, but we finally got it back to camp last night. I'll let @allmotorrex give the details.

Did a lil wheeling of my own one last time. Didn't hit any hard trails but fun none the less. How did your wheeling go?

There was at least one bolt you didn't torque.

I was only there for the day yesterday, but we had a good time. Gid's truck broke down about 20 minutes into the first run. Levi broke the welds on his skid plate. I tried to relocate my axle by losing two of the nuts on my u-bolts, my driver's side slider is going to need a new paint job because it's down to bare metal, and I actually got to use my winch twice and my hi-lift once. All in all it was a fun trip and everyone drove home, so no real harm was done.

How did you almost lose the nuts on your drive shaft? what did you run on your slider that bad? Doesn't sound like there was a dull moment. Lol :p Glad everyone drove home. That's always a good thing.

Evidently when I put my AAL in two weeks ago I didn't torque the nuts on the u-bolts tight enough on the driver's side. Sometime during the day I lost two of them. Did a hill climb, and noticed the tire was rubbing while I was on flat ground. Stopped, got out and looked, and sure enough, the axle was about an inch too far forward on the driver's side. The u-bolts were loose enough that the spring had popped up out of the perch and the axle moved. I'm lucky I didn't do any damage. We got it lined back up, and Gid tightened the piss out of the nuts that were still on there. Kept wheeling and drove home, then I swapped the u-bolts today as I had another set just sitting in my garage. I can promise you these are torqued well.

As for the slider, Gid got into a bad spot and I went to go behind him to winch him backwards, well I got stuck making a tight turn and had to winch myself around the turn, pivoting on my slider. At that point, there was about 8 inches of gravel and dirt ABOVE my slider. To say it was dug in would be an understatement.

Was it leaking? Or did his truck start overheating because of an air bubble?

The past is history, the future is a mystery, but right now is a gift. That's why they call it the present. We'll keep you guessing for a while longer, it's fun.

That's why I use lock-tight on every important part on a vehicle now except lug nuts. I went out on a cruise with some friends when I had a Focus ST and he had just powder coated his brake calipers. Well the bolt backed out because of the vibrations and needless to say we had to call someone to pick up his car. We waited almost 3 hrs. I just checked all my hardware on my front and rear suspension and made sure they were all tight. I'm going to do it again before my drive to TN but I don't think the hardware will move this time.

Well, while you fuckers were wheelin, i tore my center console and half of my dash out to finally wire in the 12 volt power socket and usb charger that i ordered in April into the rear of the center console. Did the a/c plug in the cab mod too while i was in there since Dave gave me the shit to do it at the march lbl trip, and i finally got off my ass and did it. I went back through the thread for it and realized I cut the wrong wire for the 400 watt anytime mod.... fuck.

What is this ac mod you speak of? what wire do we cut to use the inverter at full power and are there any drawbacks?
Never mind had to read it a couple times for AC to sink in.

Purple w/white tracer cut and cap both ends. Purple wire cut and ground the side leading to the inverter. I never understood why it was 400w at idle, and 100w while moving. Always seemed backwards to me.
