Get better! The doors are going to be cool, but how hard is it to swap them out? Do they bolt onto the regular hinge location? When are you plastidipping your headliner since it will be the only thing not rubber inside your truck? ;)

    haha thanks man!

there are 2 bolts per hinge (2 hinges/door) along with the electrical connection for power windows/doors and 1 tiny piece that keeps the doors from over extending when opening, so 5 bolts plus electrical harness is all. Shouldnt take more than 10 min per door when I get the hang of it (and probably less then).

As for the headliner, I just figured I'd rip it out haha

I was wondering if you'd have to bolt/unbolt everytime, and how that would affect door alignment. I made the doors on my old XJ removable, and I could get all 4 on or off in about 5 minutes and never had any alignment issues. And here's a picture for shitzengiggles.

so there are some people around that have done quick release type pins but im concern with those is the fitting issue. They use the stock bolts so I think that reduces the chance of misalignment. Im considering going to a pick n pull lot and just getting the hinges off another tacoma so I can swap out the hinge from the frame instead of the doors from hinge to make it quicker, and if I can get them for a steal.

And thats the jeep Ive heard so much about haha

I would look into the removable pins more if I were you. Everytime you unbolt the hinge, whether from the door or the body, you will have to realign it. If you get the right size pin, so that there is no play, the doors will remain aligned when you pull them off. Get a door side hinge on the tube doors, align it properly, and then all you have to do is pull pins, unplug, and swap.

Ill have to look into more than definitely. I figured itd be hard to find the exact right pin size

Don't warp them. Looks like something I would weld too much or too hot and warp all to shit lol

That is my main concern haha

After tacking it in a few places, I was plannin on working from the center out, alternating each "side" moving across the piece (if that makes sense, so like 12, 6, 3, to 9, from the center, then left of center, then right of center, then left of the first left, etc ,etc haha)

Supposed to be doing the Dirt Devil on the 25th, but if for some reason it falls through, I'll go here instead.

With 160k on the clock, my '03 developed a nasty sputtering issue when under any kind of load. New plugs and wires today seems to have completely solved the problem. Also, I pulled 3 Densos and 3 NGKS out of the V6 which means these are likely the originals that came in the truck from the factory. Not sure why they were built that way but kind of interesting.

I'll let you guys decide which one was connected to a coil that may be on its way out...

I like how the one on the left has cracked porcelain and has obviously been arcing out to the head. Likely where your misfire was coming from, or the widened gap. Color looks good though.
