Yeah I agree. The 5vz calls for plugs to be gapped at .043 and these were all .055 or higher which I doubt was doing the motor any favors

I installed the wet okole covers yesterday. Love em! I didnt know they would make the seats that much more comfortable, I got them so I wouldnt mess up the original seats anymore than I already have. Got all black with just the red TRD emblem with Toyota Racing Development in red over top the TRD.

driver side done. now just to use these to mock up on the passenger side and use them as a WAY more accurate template so itll take less back and forth running from table to door to check fitment (hopefully). then just to weld them in. It doesnt look aligned in the top right corner because the door bends 1.75" outward and goes in. I plan on getting sufficient welds along the diagonal, bottom and top (before the bend) and then use a ball hammer to wrap it and tack it, then weld.

 

Fuck Mondays. I want to go back to bed.

Finally done cutting and fitting. All thats left is flap disc'in them to weld...and practice the welding tube to 16g. then I can start completing them.
