I've never been, but the few people I know that has done it say it's a blast and gorgeous scenery. They also said try to go after it rains because I lt gets quite dusty

Found a pretty cool trail out behind the maintenance and hunters checking station. Got a lil bit of mud on the truck. Next time I need to remember to take the hitch off lol. (Really I need 33"s with a high clearance going through all the creeks I went through lol)

 

I'm sure someone can tell me why my truck pops like a mofo in the front, right? At start and stop typically.

 

coils binding on coilovers? do you have the cranked too high?

Also, can you be more specific on where the noise is coming from, coils, LCA, UCA, etc?

 

Not too high. Only about 2". Hard to say exactly where it is from in the cab. I thought maybe this was something others had experienced or maybe I was hoping it is somewhat common. Seemed to get marginally worse after my alignment Saturday.

I have a knocking/popping noise also, comin from my driver side susp, and im replacing my LCA bc I assume thats it, and after talkin to everyone on here. It should arrive Monday

 

When did you get that rear bumper? Looks pretty sweet

 

Mine was making that noise. Went away after I did lt so it had to be the bushings as well.

 

Excuses. Say, have a link to those LCA bushings? Which did you go with?

Ok so took the bumper off today to put some paint on it since I get to have my wife's car also for three weeks. I roughed up the paint and started on the back side of the bumper but when I was laying down a coat it would do o splotch pattern. I used 220 grit to roughy it up and then wiped down using just gloss Rustolium paint in a can. I don't know what the coating on it was as Levi put that on. But anybody got any ideas. Picture for reference.

 

It's a duraplate coating, it's past its recoatng window so a light sanding over the whole thing wouldn't hurt. But my guess is there is some sort of contamination on the surface that's making the paint do that. I'd sand it down a little rougher than the rest of the bumper then wipe it down with mineral spirits or some kind of paint thinner. Let that dry for a minute then respray it.

 

I have no clue how you could tell. Those stock rubber bushings are glued in there and my guess is you ain't gonna wiggle them with your hands. Just replace them.
