For the bull bar, just FYI, the Westin bull bar fit my friends Tacoma, (I sold it to him after we got it on his truck) and he has the TRD skid plate. It will say it wont fit, but if you can pull it apart about 1/8", it goes. If we had a hammer and hit each mounting bracket both in 1/16" it would do the same too. just so ya know. (I guess I should say results may vary so I'm not held liable haha)

Thanks for the heads up. Is it holding up so far? I was looking at the Westin so that may work.

I was thinking of Line-X'ing my running boards cause I hate chrome. And then doing the bull bar to match. But have been looking at replacing the step bars with rock rails.

just keep in mind, if you are looking for the step bar style to protect the truck, they wont. They will help ppl getting in and out, but thats it. They will snap/dent all up and worst case, end up damaging the side of the truck since the arent designed to hold weight from the bottom up (like if you were to slide them on a rock).

Sliders on the other hand, can be bolt on, still help ppl get in and out AND protect the truck. Prob not that much more expensive, if any, than an OEM step product. Just throwin that out there. I made that mistake and got Westin step bars also....ended up buying sliders after a wheeling trip or 2. Tryin to save ya some $$ possibly and not make the same mistakes some of us have

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I'll be trying the coil cleaner soon. Wife & kids sitting in truck at 7pm with AC blasting while I just ran into Lowe's for a return. Temp gage was 1 tick mark from red when I got back in.

Thanks. I'm 6'2" so I don't really need the step bars but my girlfriend on the other hand. LOL. Let's just say she is a little vertically challenged and needs the boost.
Has anyone had any experience with the rock rails that have the steps off of them?

When that was filmed, the C5 Vettes had just come out, so he was probably referring to Barbie Vettes...which I could beat on my mountain bike.

Ok so who has spacers on the front to correct drivers lean? I am getting ready to change out the coils to 886 from stock and going to set the billies at .85 to help with the bumper and winch. What size pack should I go with for the top spacer to correct the lean is there is going to be any. Want to order ahead so I can put them in before alignment. Should I go with metal or poly? Also the bumper came out fine did a smooth finish up top and a rough textured finish on bottom.

I would be cautious putting the bilsteins at anything but the bottom clip with 886s. Thats a very high spring rate that you are compressing even more. The 886s should net you just under 3 inches with the bumper and winch already.
