Haha that's cool you recognize where that's at. That area is like no other in the state. I live 4 hours away from there and have only been there twice.

I've heard rumors that it's being turned in to an elk preserve and access cut off.

 

They are turning the other side of the mountain into an industrial complex.
I met the guy that owns land on the south side of that part of the mountain and he had mentioned they are trying to get that land set as a preserve/ hunting ground with memberships
I don't think it will happen any time soon, but I have been wrong before

I did ultralight backpacking for a long time, and do a lot of primitive skills/bushcraft type things, and wilderness first responder stuff too. If you ever want to bounce any ideas around, feel free. Have you decided on any schools for a PA program? My wife just finished her DNP at Vanderbilt.

I absolutely love my km2's in 255/80/17. I'm glad you and Dave pushed me that direction. They weren't cheap but they surprised me time after time in LBL.

 

Wired up my winch and some turn signals... Now just to get rear recovery points and my cooler...

 

South college is a great school local to Knoxville
Vanderbilt is incredible
But you will be paying for both
Then again, I know several pa's in the Er's we are in and out of.
And private practice, some of those folks are making 120+ a year

@423 TACO No clue what the difference is between the lx450s and lx470s but this dude I've been subscribed to on YouTube had a sweet overland setup from a couple years ago. Several videos of him out in CO and in the snow.
