Toppers are fantastic. Dry storage is better than wet storage. It keeps from clogging up the cab with crap. You can sleep in it. You can sleep on it with a RTT. It keeps the damn crows from tearing into my trash bags before I make it to the dump.

But they are terrible when you need to haul something big. I have a trailer so it's not a problem. If I didn't have a trailer, I wouldn't own a topper.

 

Soft topper FTMFW. Fold that some bitch down in 3 mins and haul whatever you want. I love mine.

 

What else would you give it based on? Knowledge? Booooring.

 

A topper would look terrible on my truck. Function over form only holds up until form actually matters

 

If you have a topper and a swing-out that holds your spare tire.... nice jeep

 

I used to catch shit all the time for the soft topper and my ditch lights, trying to tell me I wanted to be a jeep.

 

I'm convinced that 94% of the jeeps i see driving around with roof mounted led bars or ditch lights don't actually have them hooked up. I'm sure that that same percent don't wheel either, except for malls. They'll wheel the shit out of a mall.

 

Might be serious, possibly for this reason.

Need to decide on a color. Black would obviously work, Charcoal might be okay, not sure about Tan. I really wish they had an OD.

 

I thought they only had black and tan. From the few tan ones I've seen, they don't hold up as well. But I don't know that to be fact. Mine has been on damn near 24/7 for 2 years.

 

Make sure truck is level.
