I loved mud when I first got my truck. But when my buddies were working on my truck at the last meet, one mentioned how dirty it was, I haven't really played in mud since. Luckily theres been some creek crossings instead of mud pits on the last couple trips. I think I'm just tired of spending forever cleaning it too. For the first time since I bought her, you can actually see paint on the underside of the hood.

I dont even know who I am anymore. :goingcrazy:

I'm a Georgia boy headed to Pigeon Forge this weekend. Wanted to check in on here to see if anyone wheels in the area or in particular here http://www.outdoorsinthesmokies.com/off-road-vehicles.html. Or can shed any opinions about this place. I would offer to have a meet but I will be with my wife and son for a weekend getaway so my time has to be with them. But if anyone wants to meet for wheeling that might be possible since we're talking about going to this place for a mild run. But I'm not sure when we plan to go at the moment. Thanks.

Was just there with wife and son, and thought there would for sure be some easy trails to find and or some decent river access... No such luck. I forget the name of the pass, but there is a low point in mountains you can drive over to a huge concrete lookout point. When I went out there, I thought it was wheeling to get back there, but it was all paved, nice drive, but you could take a civic. I didn't investigate as much as I'd have liked to bc much like you, I was with my family and had attention elsewhere. All I really know to say is to make sure what you find is actually "a trail" and not paved over. Sorry I don't have much more in the way of endorsements or specifics.

In other news, SCS is coming out with a 17x9 3.5bs f5 and he said they're gonna make them in white. The gods have spoken. I may talk to him about custom ordering a set in like a dark cherry color, or maybe a really dark blue. Something that looks black until the sun hits them.

Just acquired my passengers for the Veterans Day TN DD trail ride. My friends in Cookeville are coming. Its so hard to convince non-TW people to do TW things with me. I can see it now, one might be in a beach chair in the bed just laid out drinking a bottle of wine. Shes a wild one.

So you only hit the easy "trails"? I'd love to get to some of the views he has pictured but they are on the harder trails. Not sure how "wild" they are but my son is only 4 and hate to jostle him around in his car seat too much, plus if I were to get stuck and tie up too much time my wife would probably be pissed. Thanks.

For certain. I think I didn't look around more just to avoid getting the wife mad too in solo truck in unfamiliar territory. There must be good stuff out there, but I didn't see it.
