Suspension in progress. Hiccups of course. For the life of me I can't get the strut high enough to get the lower bolt it. I pried with all I have. No luck. Rented a spring compressor. The dust boot is too big to fit inside the coil with the compressor on. Damn. Dropped them off with my mechanic and his wall mount compressor. Now I wait

Happy birthday and happy anniversary also. Sounds like the next one is at Gids that will be a blast also. Will have to come early for the pre party for sure.

When is the Harlan trip? Wondering if I'll be back in the states or not for it. I hope to make it because I'll be deployed again next March for LBL

I'm well into organizing a weekend @ Harlan the week AFTER the Fall Crawl. Renting a cabin at Putney. Will be locking that down in the next few days. The date(s) are Oct 21/22/23. Planning a cookout Friday evening (21) an all day trip from Putney to Evarts and back on Saturday (22). Another party/cookout Saturday evening, Then a few hours of playing on the trails Sunday before breaking camp and heading home. There are a few members of "Indiana Overlanders" coming. A few more that hang out on Expedition Portal, and hopefully a few TW'ers. All are welcome. Just let me know if you're interested. Looking to make it a diverse group. Got a few FJ Cruisers on the short list, a couple Tacoma's, along with a few "Brand X" people.

Lug nuts arrived. Picked up my coilovers. Now, if it will just stop raining I'll be in business.

What is involved in adding an aftermarket stereo? By stereo I mean just the piece in the dash. The speakers and what not are fine but I would like to have an auxiliary hookup. I miss my iPod. Is it as simple as unplugging the stock one and plugging up the new?
