So I found a camper top and the dude is only asking 80 bucks for it. Problem is, it's in Memphis. gotta decide if it's worth the drive...

 

Sounds worth it to me. I've been looking for an excuse to go out there and check out that bass pro pyramid.

 

I'd leave right this second. Hell, have one of the Memphis guys pick it up after work tomorrow and give them an extra $20 to hold it until you can get down there.

 

I miss working on go fast cars...you should really move to Nashville, because I'm not coming to Memphis.

Never been to Memphis and craving that bbq!

Everyone is talking about this wheeling trip to Harlan or wherever, why don't we just have a taco convoy to some city for a day or weekend

Not exactly memphis is right. Munford is all backwoods country. One of the many pure country areas right outside memphis

Memphis is where all the go fast cars are though. Street racing is just as, if not more popular then track racing here. I have been out of the street scene since I was a kid but I may have to venture out to the "drag strip" on an upcoming sat night. I've been working on these slow ass n/a trucks for too long. It's gonna feel good to do some street tuning on something fast again

 

Yeah I have no idea about the "street scene" in Nashville anymore. I know it's huge in Huntsville. I can tell you how it feels doing 145+ down I-65 in a Ferrari 360 though. Smooth, and it wants more, always.

 

It's not THAT backwoods. It's where I live.

 

Not very big. There's a decent racing group in the boro. A few tuned zr1's and z06's in the Nashville area. I know there's a turbo LS1 Miata somewhere and a couple 5-600whp Hondas. Nothing too stupid

Trip to Memphis is a no go. Shell was for a different that he "modified" to fit his Tacoma.

 

I'll own a Ferrari one day. I want a Testarossa. I could sell all 5 of my cars and pay cash for one. Hmmmmmm......
