Truck handles pretty good. Definitely not worth dealing with that machine again any time soon to try dialing it in more.

I was talking to a buddy of mine that work at goodyear and was basically their front end guy, i told him how the numbers were different on the print out vs the screen and he asked if i sweeped the caster after every adjustment becaise it is the only adjustment that is not a "live" adjustment . I said "fuck, no one ever taught me that"


I think i know why the numbers were off now but i still can't explain why it was reading backwards even are re-compensating and redoing the caster measurement sweep

I got an ELM327 adapter for my OBD2 plug and use an iPad mini or my phone.

 

I like the idea of using my phone, but alot of times I'm using youtube music or don't feel like taking it out of my pocket.

 

Just got the EM Plus in the group buy last month or so. I didn't need the trans temp monitoring as 1st gens don't monitor it. Lots of guys were not too happy with the connectivity using the Blue version it seems. I'm constantly watching my MPGs now.

 

I'm looking at the mx because it does more

 

Right. Most 2nd gens got the mx or blue in the group buy. 1st gens just don't monitor as much as the 2nds. I've been pretty happy with mine. The buttons and menus are clumsy and feel cheap but you get what you pay for.

 

I really just want to monitor voltage, temps, and I'm curious about my mpgs even though I don't give a fuck about getting good mpg.

 

My ELM327 was $15, and the app was either free or cheap.

 

That's a slick way to go with your iPad on the RAM mount.
