A couple of rear window decals...
I worked on installing my SumoSprings today. Some success and some failure. I tooks some base measurements, then I started with the rear springs. That actually went fairly well. I took my wheels off to make the U-bolts easier to get too, but that is not actually a required step. The spings come with the base screwed on, but you'll need to unscrew them and add loctite (supplied) to the bolt. You'll need a 19mm socket. When you loosen the U-bolts it won't be neccessary to completely remove them, but you do need to back them off till there is only a couple treads left to get the new sumo's mount in place. I started with a breaker bar, but found it wasn't neccessary. A standard 1/2' drive ratchet work just fine. Retighten the U-bolts and torque to 75ftlbs. Intallation of both sides took me about 1&1/2 hours. And I move a lot slower than most folks. Some of you I'm sure can get this done in less than an hour. Once everything was on the ground again I re-measured the hieght of the bumper and skid plate again. The bumper was about 1.5 inches higher and the skid plate was .75 inches higher. I'm going to drive them for a few days and then measure again to see if they settle.

Base measurements: Top of hitch 18 5/16" and skid plate at 7 3/4".

    Sitting back on the ground.

Post installation measurement: Top of hitch 19 3/4" and skid plate at 8 1/2" (not driven on)

This is the Tennessee thread. You'd have to buy ORCA to support local business.

Looks good. I'm interesting to see if it changes how the truck rides. Also, unfuck your interior. ;)
