Yeah, their sales guys have been awesome whenever I've stopped by. I question whether the guy at the parts counter knows much though.

 

Haven't had any experience, but I did reach out to Bryce last week about the TSB update and they had no idea what i was talking about..

Luckily, i haven't had any jerk-ness going on. The engine seems to be constantly searching for gears, but hoping it will be resolved when i take it in for its 1st service.

Definitely not as bad as some peoples 3rd gens, but still noticeable.

 

Welcome man. And I didn't mean anything by it, I just thought it was a funny coincidence. And hopefully your views of tacomas or toyota in general aren't polluted with problems you find with your truck. I assure you, these aren't typical things in past years

 

that seems to be the gist and I wont judge - luckily my problems seem tiny in comparison to other 3rd gen owners!

do any parts guys? I know of only 2 that do.

 

Last trip to Oxmoor Toyota (Shelbyville Rd, in Louisville) they went out and found a parts guy who really knows his shit. They imported him from the east coast. This guy quoted part #'s without doing a look up. I was getting parts for 3 different trucks and even that didn't confuse him. Now if he can just do something about their jacked up prices.....

But it's nice to have someone behind the counter that knows of what he speaks.

 

Just installed my soft topper - very pleased.

 

I've been very fond of mine. Recently been thinking of ditching it to go a different route, but no complaints in the 2 years I've owned it.

Negative. Bed bars or bed rack and RTT. Not decided though. Paint and suspension overhaul are first.
