Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm back. Just wanted to say thanks to all yall for the kind words Friday. The service Monday was beautiful and I enjoyed it immensely.

This weekend was awesome. AOP is getting better and better as a park. We killed the competition and will def be back next year to defend our title. Mike, it was nice meeting you and talking about some personal stuff. Kurt, I feel honored and creeped out Sarah is the sex doll in your book. Jeremy, you may be the fastest racer now but me and Dave are taking that crown next year. Dave, stay awesome. Levi, you suck. I got some pics that I'll look through this weekend and post them. As always, to the folks that couldn't come, you missed out on our normal boring conversations and uneventful activities. Def wasn't worth remembering .....

Haha it just so happens that the main persons name is Sarah. I asked a bunch of my lady friends what would be a good name for a doctors assistant that was a hoe and a side hook up lol. Out of 20 or so names that one came up a couple times. This is why I went with it only.

Did someone say KM2s? These damn tires just flatout hookup on anything that isn't packed snow or ice. Starting to get some good chunking going on after June LBL and last weekend at Harlan.

So I cleaned the truck up yesterday inside and out. The mud from that pit was pretty much all clay and basically made bricks everywhere under my truck, so that was fun. I was looking and noticed I have a pretty good gouge in the lower portion of my bumper, and the IFS skid looks like it took a LOT of hits. The LCA skids are also pretty ragged on their leading edges. The sliders are scraped up and banged up front to back along the square tubing and the round tubing. Interestingly, the crossover pipe for my exhaust, factory crossmember, factory transfer case skid (heat shield), and fuel tank skid are all completely untouched. I didn't look at my rear axle, but I wouldn't be surprised if the diff housing had a few scrapes on it though. Just goes to show what a lot of us have said all along about which skids are important and which aren't. I was most impressed by my aluminum bumper not being bent around that gouge, and the gouge being fairly shallow. There is a corresponding ding on the IFS skid that looks like it was a pretty hard hit.

    It never efffing ends.....

Which brings up a good question for my next mod selection. I'm on the fence on which way I am leaning. Do I get a set of sliders, IFS and transfer case skids, or UCA?

With my current wheel/tire setup I am having no issues with rubbing, but that may change once I get new tires. That may be sometime in the winter/spring though. So, sliders or skids? Bear in mind, I have a set of chrome steps now and while I realize they don't do much, I really don't care if I beat the hell out of them, so long as the truck doesn't get damaged.

I was thinkin about checkin the tq of the bolts every time I would rotate them. would that be too infrequent? I understand they take a little more maintenance but I figured it would be like the TC UCA's, having to grease them every so often.

Id also paint the lock ring (not sure if it constitutes a rock ring?) or whatever its called, red

Sliders first for sure. Then IFS skid, then LCA skids.
