I've only done on in an FD3S, but I'm down to do work. If you'll have a donor car, that will make it SO much easier because you can pull the entire ECU/harness/sensors/OBD port and still be able to pass emissions. Are you going to try and integrate the factory dash cluster, or do something custom...or have you even thought about it?

Probably run aftermarket gauges or go all out and run something like a motec data logger. Really want something digital.

I'm personally not a fan of digital gauges that only have a numeric value as an output. I prefer clocked gauges with needles so I can know what's going on with everything at a glance, or even from my peripheral vision.

I'd want something along the lines of the s2000 gauge where there's atleast some sort of chart/visual output

Wtf.....all the websites for Knox area parts stores (Advance, O'Reilly...) show inch/pound torque wreches on their list of rental tools. Called around to make sure before driving around and the first store didnt know what in/lb was, other two said "no, we've never had that." Amazon/harbor freight it is then I guess.

    "I prefer clocks"

    True statement.

Jeremy, a motor swap in a 2nd Gen tacoma is not an oddity. Just because 1 dude you talked to, who obviously is bias towards selling you his product, said you shouldn't/ can't do it doesn't mean he's right. If you found 1 motor swap on the Internet, that means theres dozens not on the internet. Even though 99% of fucktards in the world are on social media, that other 1% are still doing cool shit but just don't care to impress the masses. Someone at Sema this year has a FRS with a v12 Ferrari motor and drive train in it and you think in 10 years no one has successfully swapped a LS motor in a 2nd gen tacoma? Move to Washington already!!!
