So.... i may or may not have started to begin to prepare to get ready for the 5th Annual LBL Wheeling Extravaganza and Camping Shenanigans this afternoon

 

I start picking Monday for vacation I need a firm date.... Haha

On another note, what suspension lift is everyone running? I like the OME wth dakars in the rear, but open to suggestions!

Yea, I'm pretty stoked. Got it for a good price off of armslist too

 

OME is nice sturdy setup. Front rides a bit rough in my opinion but handles weight well.
I've heard the 885 coils ride a little better if paired with the Bilstein 5100 struts instead of the OME struts.
The Dakar leaf with OME shock has been great for the rear. I've loaded it down heavily a number of times. Starting to get some sag now with about 75k miles on them. Don't know if they're any better or worse than other leaf options though.

I swapped out my front to Kings but still have the Dakar/OME rear.

Don't know what's fair price for used parts but if you're interested in my 885 coils preassembled on OME struts...

How many miles you put on them and what kind of shape are they in?

Struts/coils got 65k on them.
Some rust on strut bodies.
One strut had a sheen of fluid on it once. Don't know if it leaked a little oil for some reason or just got something splashed on it from somewhere else.
They still seem to be in ok condition. No extra bouncing yet riding on the highway.
Springs have settled some so the amount of lift will depend on the weight of any skids you have.
I only changed because I added more weight (bumper) so needed stiffer springs.

What are the other wheel specs? Backspacing and width?

Here's some pictures from this past weekend. I was an assistant instructor at a wilderness/improvised first responder class down in AL. The first day we had one student quit, one went hypoglycemic, two had asthma attacks, and one bruised his patella. Day two had a guy so dehydrated, when I got him to the ER his blood pressure was 85/61. Needless to say, we were not easy on them. I didn't get any pictures of the night scenarios because I was the patient for those. We ran training and callouts 24 hours for 3 days.
