Kinda regret buying it all at once? Or piece by piece?

this. i’m the same way man. i’m not lifting till i can do it right the first time. seams like everyone upgrades from 5100’s and AAL after a year or 2. i could lift and stay with the wheels i have. but i want different wheels. i may do lift and wait a month or 2 and get wheels and tires. i’m already running bigger than stock tires. and a 3” does not look that bad with stock tire size. because thats what camo dude has and if you look at the pic from the rod run meet you can see it’s not bad, and his tires are 1 to 2” smaller than mine. so i may run the wheels and tires i have for a short time.

Major stuff like that really in truly doesnt need to be done till it needs to be done. For instance ive been planning on lifting my truck for a loooooooooooooooong time and now that I need to replace both the leaf pack and the front strust + coils, im going ahead and replacing the whole suspension with a full kit from OME with 883 coils, nitro charger sport struts and the leaf pack with nitro charger sport shocks on the rear.

Its like TACO said, you dont have to spend $$$$$ out the ass to be unique. Currently not including my kit I just ordered I had only spent around $2k including my audio, wheels, and tires. Now for the lift kit its another 1,400 so around 3,500 total for what Ive done and Ive had the truck for 5 years now. Wheels and tires were right before this year in December and the new suspension is now. I hadnt done anything to my truck except regular maintenance like oil changes and stuff since I put my audio in.

If done right $ isnt the factor in being unique, you just gotta give it your style / feel and youre gold.

I can dig it... I mean ya, I got $800 or so in my audio, so I guess that doesn't really count, and an additional $90 in weathertech's... I don't regret anything I've done on my truck, don't get me wrong... Just wish money grew on trees! Haha

And I feel like I'll be pretty contempt once I lift and put wheels/tires... But y'all know how that goes...

Lol you and me both. If money grew on trees id live in a forest, and overgrown forest :D

AND I hate to say it but you probably wont be contempt once you lift + add wheels / tires. Theres always something else you will want to do but as the saying from Zombieland goes, "You gotta enjoy the little things" and its all a step process from the beginning to the end and as long as you enjoy every piece as much as possible youre good :)

I liked it when I bought it piece by piece the first time, now that I'm kinda redoing it I bought all the stuff at once and my bank doesn't look healthy like it once did

It's an 05-08 TRD sport. He's got a chrome billet grillcraft, 2 HID lights behind the grill, HID's in headlights, had them in fogs but they burned out. He's got (or had) dual exhaust with no tips, straight out the back. 3 inch spacer and AAL lift, he had some worn down duratracs at the time and I think he was about to get some terra grapplers. I think that's about it. His name is Robert, awesome guy.

And I just ordered my lift from Toytec. 5100's with OME 885 coils, icon unibal UCA'S, and a Dakar leaf pack. Shipped it was around $1700, not installed :smack:

Yeah, but I think the dakar's are on back order  I'll have to call Monday. A whole lot more than I wanted to spend but I knew I had to do it right this time and hopefully I'll be able to sell quite a few thing in the next 2-3 weeks.
