It never efffing ends.....

I recently picked up a set of drawer slides from @rngr and plan to build a storage box, but want to keep it über lightweight. While researching I found this setup, which seems pretty straight forward and probably would be lighter than using wood. Any other thoughts or ideas? Plus, what are some recommendations for actually bolting the frame system down; straight threw the bed or to the sides?

Picked my truck up today. Outside pictures will come tomorrow. The color match is spot on. I would say about 80% of my pinstripes came out as well. It still needs a coat of wax but I'm definitely happy with it. I've got my freshly painted TG rear bumper ready to go on this weekend then I'm dropping it off at a detail shop for a wax and full interior job. Time to find some malls to crawl
Edit: anyone know where I could get the rubber trim that goes between the flare and the fender itself? Body man didn't put anything on the flare when he installed them and I don't like how it's rubbing on the fender

Waxing will seal in the solvents that need to off gas in order for the paint to fully cure. Some of the newer water base paints don't require as much time, but even with that, shouldn't be waxed right away.

I'm not the worlds best by any means, but I do have a lot of detailing experience and you should definitely wait 3+ weeks depending on paint before sealing and waxing

If you want to keep the paint looking great long term, I would advise a coating as opposed to seal and wax

If you enjoy washing and caring for the vehicle weekly/ every other week or so, a sealant/ wax is just fine

Would be happy to give suggestions on products for you
Loving how the truck turned out
