hmm, thats weird i've never had the gun jam on me or seen it jam and i've shot at least 350 rounds through it.

It did depend on the ammo. Better 22 ammo didn't jam as much... But i like to shoot the cheap stuff, and my Mark III (and 10-22) will feed anything

we always shot the bulk boxes, but i think they broke the gun in with cci mini mags, so that might have made a difference.
speaking of 10/22's i need to get one.

I have one with a mueller APV on it. Drills perfect bullseyes at 50 yards no sweat. I'm wanting to do a barrel and stock upgrade sometime in the next year or two to bring that out to 100 yards... they're fun man, for sure. Ruger also actually sells 25-round mags for them now. I got some third-party 25-rounders that i had to shave down to get to work...

Yeah I was being sarcastic. Unless you're shooting that steel cased crap you're looking at $350 + for a 1,000 round brick.
But back to the .22lr. The Federal bulk has never failed me. But some of the cheaper .22 lr will almost always give you a problem. It's nothing to go thru 500-1000 rounds of .22 in a single trip and your not out but $45.

Hah, well that slipped by me. One thing I'm anal about is having my guns be as reliable as possible. I can load everything I've bought with rat shit and it'll still shoot. :)

The only exception is winchester shells in my 870 - i have to push the forend forward sometimes to get it to cycle. Aggravates me!

I can agree with this. I want nothing that is prone to problems.....that is also why I got my Tacoma. reliable as possible.

i know one day when he had the P22 we shot 100+ rounds in a day.
yep. it’s all about ammo. i know he had some light load today and it did just fine. but maybe because it was the first time it’s been shot?
