so, I need to start the research for beadlocks. I was originally looking at the Methods but Levi threw some options out there like alum. or something and I cant remember the name.

Dave, congrats on being a semi-nurse. good luck on the state tests (or whatever they are, I remember heather takin them but that was a long time ago. call her up if you have questions). MORE importantly, what size wise do I need to consider or does it matter (wheel offset/ BS) since I chopped the cab mounts and relocated them 3" back from the stock ones. My concern is hitting the disk calipers or tire rubbing on the coil of the shock if the tire is setting too much in. I also have those 1" spacers...do I need those or get rid of them. I don't have the truck obviously so I cant even look at shit so I gotta trust you guys on the dimensions as I start my process to make sure I don't screw it up haha.

    Who are you again? :luvya:

Thanks! It will probably be at least a month before I can sit for the NCLEX, so I have time to forget a lot.

As for wheels, I forget which ones Levi was talking about also. Do you know what size wheel you want to do? Sticking with 18s, going down to 17s, how wide? Mine are 17x8 with a 4.1" BS and I don't hit any suspension components. I don't think you would want any more backspace than that though, and you'd probably be fine with 3.5" BS on up to a 9" wide wheel, possibly 10" wide wheel since you have the glass fenders. I'll let others chime in on what they've got working for them.

17's. either x9 or x10. Way more big tire options in 17.

yea, 17's for sure. I made the mistake of doing 18's....and never again.

I like the idea of 9" width since my current 35's are 12.5" wide

I'm probably doing the DIY beadlock in 17x9 3.25-3.5 BS, price is adding up faster t Han I like and proper wheel specs are still super hard t o find. Let me know the cheapest you find, May not go t he DIY/DYF route if t he price is right

Also, obligatory FU for moving HAHA

I told you I was free from rubbing front at full stuff. Not the case. Rubbing top same as you. May have a DYF solution in the works soon.

Yeah I thought about shimming the bumps to limit uptravel, but it's only at maximum stuff, which is going to be at minimum speeds. I'm not too worried about it, and really don't want to limit my uptravel.

I'm limited at 1/2" already at the coil and 3/8" at the bump. Still trying to lift my battery lol

    Congrats on graduating David.
if lbl, then turkey bay. Or...

Wind rock is just as close, with a whole lot more to see and a better view while you're seeing it.

Have you ever been to either? I've been to TB once. Enjoyed it. Rode WIndrock several times on 4 wheelers. Awesome place.

Hey guys I might be getting a job in Nashville/buena vista heights area. If I do I'll be relocating hopefully close to that area. Any areas around there I should avoid looking? Thanks in advance.
