She fractured a clavicle on the way out but they said it should heal in about a week if we can keep it stabilized.

i'd also like to get back to harlan before bill's trip in october. fun place

 

May be a late June to as late as August trip to Harlan with a group from Northern Indiana. It can get hot and VERY dusty there in mid summer.

Just stay out of Madison, other than that, nashvilles pretty nice, traffic is lousy, but that's any major city these days.

 

Mall crawler at the stealership getting dent repair done. Took a look at it, it's never been offroad (there is not a spec of mud/dirt under that thing anywhere. I also determined that there is no way in hell that 1. It will make it off road without breaking, and 2. Have any up travel while turning without those big ass tires ripping the fenders off. Fuckin jeeps.

 

jeeps can be very capable off road vehicles, and the availability and pricing of bolt on parts for them is insane (in a good way)

however, they do have a couple major issues:
1) They are absolutely useless on the road
2) 99% of the people that drive them (self explanatory)

 

I've owned 2 jeeps. They will force you into owning tools.

Learn to like dealing with electrical issues.

By the way, this is what your typical jeep looks like on the streets of memphis. 98% mall crawler/street queen.

 

One of the members where I work has an OVERLAND EXPEDITION model....with every imaginable aftermarket goodie known to man. He won't even drive it in the rain.
