    ^ 2012 Tacoma. 44,000 Miles. 4.0L. 4x4. SR5. It's fuggin GREEN. Its sex on wheels.

Was walking up the used Taco's on the Toyota lot. Turned a corner, saw this green beauty and it went as follows "It's Green? I'm done, this is it, Lets do paperwork"

As neat as the 2TR looked, the bumpers and lift and tires were incredibly impractical. No bumpers, lifts or tires will go on this. Just live vicariously through. Plasti-Dip, hell yeah. Seat covers, hell yeah. Yup, being a old boring geezer. Dream truck, For reals.

Did I mention it was GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drove a built 2WD. Check out the build thread. Bumpers, lift, Bench seat to FJ buckets, whole 9. Did a few really, really dumb things with this crew (My anti-social, Ohio based self, found a little home with the Tenn gang) I had no business doing in a 2WD truck. Almost went backwards down a Cliffside, Gid saved me on that one. Then took my truck up in several feet of snow, How I made it, I have no idea, but I did. Then sorta disappeared a cpl years ago. Life got in the way. Work, I have a 9 yr old and a 5yr old. I had a knock down drag out fight with Dollar General from 12/2015 to 9/2016, I won, I sold a house I had lived in for 2 years, I made 15K off it. I bought a new house in a tiny village in the middle of the country where if you want more than subway or mom n pop pizza, it's a 15 minute drive. A built single cab 5 lug doesn't cut it in the family friendly category. She was traded in this Saturday and got me the Taco of my wet dreams.

See, Dumb. That would be Levi behind my truck.

Well Hello!!! (Just not from this little fella anymore. Sad, but also very Exciting)

    How ya'll been?

New truck is awesome. No more slug truck! Ride is fantastic. Took a 1.5 hr drive to Rach's moms, then back again today. Going to my parents, another hour tomorrow. Have lots of the neat gizmo's I was missing out on. 4x4. Power doors/locks/windows/Side Mirrors. key fob. Back up Cam (The wifey is jealous of it) A real center console. Temp and direction RV display.

First time visiting AOP. I was pleasantly surprised, if not a bit intimidated. Notice the photo of rear bumper. Looks like I know which will be the next upgrade.

No more Auto Tech slaving away for me. Got outta that at the end of 2015. Been doing Electrician work since 1/16. I've proved competent enough to be put in charge of a Van/Become Lead tech after my short stint. Recently co-ran a Knob and Tube house rewire with a bill of 9K. The 3rd Knob N Tube job I've been Lead Tech on the past 2 months.

Congrats on the new ride. The rarity of that color makes it look that much better.
