i think the 6 inch lifts on 2nd gens are bad ass...

 

4.56s are recommended for 35s for ur truck so if there is a possibility that u go up in size in the future then I think u have a perfect plan sir I personally don't like the idea of a front locker unless u do a lot of rock crawling where u actually need it. But like I said before plan on breaking cv's every so often. Our cv's r strong but in a bind they will snap first. Good thing is they r a cheaper part that would break, bad thing is they are still a few hundred a pair and r a bitch to change, especially on a trail. Having said that, I would say that rocks r about the only place u would really want that locker and u could obviously engage and disengage it when u want. U will end up spending about $3k on that setup though. Gears front and back will run $500, install kits front about back will run $400, locker is $900, air compressor is $400, and install will probably be around $1000.

 

I think the LOOK of a 6" lift is badass. The lift itself sucks.

I just thought about this..... have u even asked this guy anything about the truck!? Like how long has the charger been on the truck, what kinda driving does he do in it, pics of suspension, pics of interior, how much thread on tires, AND his reason for selling. Don't be dumb and just hope all this is good cause the only things I see r a clean engine bay and a truck that looks like Levi's

one guys found some aftermarket on ebay for like $160 or something. all i would to do if wire up the heater and turn signals and puddle/foot lights.

 

What are you trying to do, talk me out of it! Lol... I really don't think I need the locker either, but everyone says do if you are regearing. I would just like to regear. I am sitting pretty heavy with two bumpers, sliders, winch, etc... There is a noticeable difference in power, thought this would help me. Hum... What would you do, just regear and forget the locker?

 

I PM'd him asking questions about how many owners, any accidents (which i can pull a carfax), any paint work, etc... I haven't heard back from him yet... And like I said, this is a long shot that this actually happens... But I think i'm only interested in the truck for about 21k, but I don't know how he'll feel about that...

And the most important question... (Does it fit in a 7ft garage?!?!?!?!) Lol... I'll keep y'all posted...

 

Also, It's probably smarter for me to take the nfabs and weathertech's and put them in the new truck because I won't get enough money out of it... I think i'm gonna ask $18k with everything in it, or $17k bare bones... Does that seem fair?

 

yeah, take all that stuff off and out. that way you can put it on the other truck.

Hahaha I'm really not trying to talk u out of anything. I actually would like to have one also "just because" but its not in my future with my gear install because I might use it a few times a year and even then I would be so cautious doing it that I might not even actually use it! Lol the truth is that ifs trucks are so limited in what they can actually do that as badass as u can make ur truck, as soon as u ride in a straight axled truck on rocks u will be like " why the fuck have I been wasting my money on a ifs truck". Not saying that u shouldn't make ur truck as badass as possible but if u don't wanna spend the $1800 to get one installed then don't. I don't think u will use it and if u do it will just be to say u use it. Haha that's just my logically 2 cents. But this is also coming from a guy that has 2.5 remote resi shocks all the way around and only does low speed stuff making the resi completely useless. Lol U got any pics of ur truck!? I'd like to see this "badass" sounding truck u got!

Thanks, i need AAL bad though. the rear sags some..then the all pro skids.
I got a set of trail gear 1st gen sliders but the slider is the same length as ones for 2nd gens so i dont see why it wouldnt work.
