There are a couple of mediocre bourbons from KY, but to claim you make better whiskey is both naive and foolish.

 

So to eliminate drive line vibrations. What should I do? My current measurements are

 

Dave suggested removing the rear driveshaft once upon a time. I like that idea.

3° shim at the axle to reduce the angle back there.

That will only tell you if that's where the vibration is. I guess it would fix it if you wanted a front wheel drive truck.

From the factory, we don't meet Dana/Spicer recommendations.

Try raising center to reduce front angle but keep front shaft within 1 degree of axle. See how that does.

 

What direction is it pointed? Perhaps removing the shim would get him where he needs to be. It appears he's 3 degrees off...

 

Jack Daniels is gross, but I'll get drunk and drink it.

We make bourbon here, not really whiskey. When they changed the law and the big names sold out to Chinese corporations, my tastes got more refined and expensive sadly. Maker's and Blanton's are on my shelf right now.

There are far better Tennessee whiskeys than Jack Daniel's.

 

Not many WORSE though...

Drank a lot of it while in college. Then I got "smarter". Cannot stand it now days.

 

Out of college and I still think the cheap whiskey/bourbon is better than the expensive stuff... but you know that's just my taste....

 

Always been happy with Buffalo Trace and Four Roses.
The Bulleit I like pretty well but something is different in its flavor versus the others. Not bad, just different.

 

I like my bourbon sans burn.

 

the burn lets you know it's a drink for a man.

 

It's actually bad bourbon and too high alcohol for the mix of the mash. A good one should have a little bite, still be 40%+, and taste smooth. IMO
