At least until the next one. Although I was at least able to see this one from my backyard. The next one is in 2024...hopefully we aren't all dead by then.

If you were in college and had an unexpected 3 day weekend during summer you wouldn't be drinking?

    C'mon now.

veegan hipster millennials are offended by our trucks. They will cyberbully us to death if we don't recycle our trucks into yellow bikes for everyone to share.

I don't blame someone at all for drinking today. Hell, I am now. But I personally wanted to remeber the eclipse. I got a few friend that were hammered when it happened. If that's your thing, good for you. But for me, i want a clear memory of it. But to each thier own.

I thought the powertrax was just a standard lunchbox locker. Same as an aussie or spartan locker. But from looking more into them they have two different types. The lock right amd a no slip.
Can someome correct me if im wrong?
Do you have the lock right or no slip?
    Amd what is the diffrence?

Seems like yesterday @allmotorrex was giving me this exact spill. Ha ha.

The no slip. It is supposed to operate more smoothly.

On the highway, it's like it doesn't exist. Where you will notice it is when turning sharply at low speed on pavement. Think parking lots. You will hear the inside tire scrubbing when you turn sharply. You learn to drive as to minimize any effects quickly.

It's not loud. It's not jerky. I do hear it clicking some and every once in a while get a thud. I enjoy it. Ha ha. Reminds me how badass it is off-road while I'm beebopping around town. There is also a little more noticeable driveline slop.

The one place I'd say it isn't desirable is driving in ice. It makes it easier for your ass to get away from you if you're not paying attention. Ask @Mr.Bl0nde . It's very manageable but definitely something to be aware of.

Certainly not for everyone, but I'm super pleased with mine. Would go this route again for sure. @beertimecontinuum and @Kerleyfries both DD theirs. They might weigh in.

All this^^^. The only thing I don't love about the No-Slip about it is the added slop in the drive line. Notice it more than anything. Works great, buy a selectable if you have an extra 1000$ laying around plus on-board air  @Knoxdavid34

I love mine. Wouldn't go back to an open diff even only using the truck offroad 3-5 days a year. Its really not bad at all, and like Carter said, you learn to drive to minimize the tire scrubbing and chirping. The slack in the driveline is odd and mine pops every once in a while but nothing crazy. 10/10 would recommend.

I don't have any good reviews for lockers haha. However east coast gear supply is the only place I'll buy drive train parts from.

I wish i had a $1000 laying around. But even that wouldn't get you an air locker when you add in the compressor, tank, line, and install. And by that time you might as well lock the front too.
The no slip does sound like a good option if you don't notice them on the high way. I've just heard they make lane changes a pain and pop really loud. I wouldnt mind a lil slop as long as it did it's job on the trail.
Anyone had any experience with a torsin diff like the truetrac. Thought about those too but I've heard those really jerk when they lock. That sounds like asking to break an axle.
