The flare cutting is easy with a jigsaw. Fenders/bedsides are also easy, but you'll need an extra set of hands to hold everything steady while you cut. @rngr helped me out with mine. Fine tooth metal cutting blade for the fenders/bedsides, double bevel wood cutting blade for the flares.
The part that sucks is getting the flares off without breaking any mounting points. Remove the fender liners first, and cut the clips or squeeze them from the inside to get the flares off. Don't just pull on the flares. You'll have to replace most/all of the clips anyways.

As Dave said, use a jigsaw. Makes it so easy and a smooth line. That's how we did mine. As for tires, go 17. Much more options and cheaper too iirc. I have 16's and will be moving to 17's whenever I need new tires.

Y'all might want to check on the long range forecast track for Irma... it could get really wet around here next week if it goes up the west coast of Florida, or even up the middle of the state...

I'm having a hard time imagining how after cutting the fender the fender flare still aligns.

What Daniel said, there's a lot of overlap. Its a lot easier if you just throw the flares in the trash after you cut them though.

Looks way better with flares. They are super easy to cut too.

These are from someone else's page. My flares wrap down and back under into the wheel well. If the bottom portion is cut off, what keeps it from just dangling?

they just are open. i ran bolts through mine in a few spots and sprayed all in openings with plastidip for extra security when slinging mud. You'll keep all the original clip on points but all screw spots get cut off.

Look at Gideon's bedsides. I'd say look at mine too but I don't think I've ever taken up close pictures of mine, or really any pictures where you can tell.

fronts are easy. rear takes some time to bend brackets to re-reinforce the bedsides.

I used the pieces I cut off from the original besides as brackets. It seemed to work pretty well.

Here ya go Tim. I never put my flares back on so it just leaves holes. I also reused the stock brackets to hold the bedside. The rear brace is just flipped over and I drilled 1 mounting hole with a black hex head bolt. The front brace is cut, shortened and welded back together.
