This just gets better. So the true story behind that picture is that I was putting in medicated eye drops. I had just had lasik done the week before on both eyes. And yes, it was done by Ming Wang.

Has anyone ever tried out the ACME switchback turn signal/DRL lights from the retrofit source? I put some in my '17 SR but they are not acting right. Everything acts as it should until I put the truck in drive; about 10 seconds after that the white LED DRL switches to amber and never goes back white.


EDIT: After more research I see on the retrofit source webpage they list the 3157 bulb with a disclaimer of "There is known issues with how the factory wiring functions using the ACME switchback bulbs. Because of these known issues, we cannot recommend them for Ford or Tacoma / Tundra vehicles at this time."

I had to find out the hard way that this disclaimer goes for my 7443 bulbs as well. Sucks but my fault for not researching deep enough.

 

I have a Rough Country 2 inch leveling kit available. Bought less that a year ago for $60 if anyone is interested I'd do $40ish (shoot..the stickers worth that) PM me if interested.
