Anyone run Carbon Ceramic brake rotors? Doing my front brakes Saturday and the manager at AutoZone told me I could get the Carbon Ceramic and just pay the difference over the standard (I have a 2 year warranty and it hasn't quite expired). Are they worth it? I know they cool a little faster but idk if there are any downsides

What's the reason why? I don't remember this. Most vendors make one bumper that fits the whole gen, some make them 05-11 and 12-15

 

Toyota made some styling changes in 12'

 

look at your truck, then look at mine. 12-15 front ends are completely different than 05-11's.... therefore, a bumper that is made for an 11 will not correctly fit a 12.

I knew they had styling changes, but I just checked the trail gear site and they don't differentiate between the style change for the front bumper.

 

I have an Everett if I need to modify. Sellers fault if he takes the trade of a 2014 to put on his 2011 lol.
I sent an email and let em know what I had.

 

Fuck it! Let's put a kia front bumper on a mercedes. Seems like it will work.

 

The deal would probably work for you, thought Trail Gears bumper designs don't exactly care much about style...

And I have a Pyrite front bumper from a '10 ...laying in my Yard if you want it

 

That TG front bumper is ugly..

 

Took both of mine to the dump when I installed my new ones. Damn!
