I led with @Jibbs as our group's map guide. Most of us got past the obstacle fine, except 2, not sure why they never made it past the creek honestly.
Anyway, we had to turn around once we realized we were in this deep and go back out. At that point, I wasn't the leader any more. Everyone's best guess is that it came from this particular rock on our way back out this trail.

 

waxing it real well should take about half of those marks off though, just FYI.

I led at Rush fine. Without a navigator in my truck.
Our spotter should've stuck around longer, helped everyone but Everett and I.

It was supposed to be an easy job today so I didn't start until late. Grease ujoints and change engine oil.



Grease gun ran out of grease. 2 of 5 ujoints greased.

Then found out the battery was dead when I tried to start it after oil change.

 

Never goes as planned, does it?

 

Sounds like a good excuse to go to a dual battery setup.

No real need for it yet. No $$ for it either.

 

Hitting the locker switch won't do anything unless your driving at a snails pace or sitting still.

 

Knarley scratches, and I still have my original rear bumper under the deck...

 

and even less so now... don't know what I hit the first wheel on, butt the ring is bent to shit!

 

I may PM you about that bumper, I'm going to try to use some ratchet straps or something to bend it back, and see how close I can get first. In the meantime I'm going to decide what I like in a rear end, other than one that can take a pounding.

 

Is the yellow Optima battery worth the money?
It's twice the price of a regular battery.

Since I'm adding work lights in the shell, would it be a good idea to go with a deep cycle battery or still not really needed?

coworker suggested i look for AGM type battery. said still better than typical cheap battery but less expensive than optima.
