^^ That sounds terrible!!!! I'll stop by there when they open up though... If I can get around $15,000 from them I think I can make it work. I can strip my headunit, subs, weathertech's, and nfabs off and make a little bit of money back... I'll let you know what they say in the AM...

Not trying to be negative man, i really hope you get that truck. Just didn't want you to walk in unprepared for what you might hear at the dealership. Private party is ALWAYS your best option. Nowadays dealers get most of their used inventory from auction houses, and record transaction prices. These price averages are whats referred to as blackbook. And unfortunatly, trade-in has started to follow these figures, although you wont see it if you look at KBB or other trusted value sources. If my wife and family hadn't been there that day, I swear I would have slapped that bastard I was so pissed. It became a trend with several other dealerships we tried to trade with. If you here blackbook, get out.

Ya, and I said "You have a 2007 Reg cab 5-speed manual work truck out there for $12,988, which means you'll be able to sell mine for $16,988 or probably $17,988"... He didn't budge on pricing...

That sucks dude, I posted again on my Facebook and my friend said his grandparents might actually buy it for his younger brother if it's cheap enough. Can't get a price out of him but I'll send him the link to your for sale page.

Thanks man, I don't think they are a member here. Found it on Craigslist... And the leather seats were actually a factory option. You don't see it on many, but I found it on mine. And I purchased the BHLM because I'm a bitch, but I'm not amazed at the job that was done. If I buy this other truck, I'll probably do it myself, becuase I'm pretty meticulous...

And thanks for the free bump... +1 for you kind sir!

Anytime man! :D hope you get your truck! And I don't blame you for buying the BHLM, I'm not to comfortable with doing it myself. Seats look good!

Guy stopped by and said he wants it... We'll see what happens. Said he was going to buy with cash and he wanted tonight, but I didn't have the title. I told him I would meet him at suntrust on Monday and we could make the deal, but I'm skeptical...

Maybe I just look ast the glass half empty, but he didn't seem to ask many questions and never tried to haggle with price, just said he wanted it... So we'll see what happens Monday morning...

I'm gonna be honest, I'm very skeptical... He lives in Dayton, but is texting me from a prepaid Iowa number... I'm sure he just came by and sized up my truck in attempt to sell it...

Cash is good, that would be great!! Don't blame you for being skeptical, but dude might have realized that by buying private party he can cut out the middle man (dealer), and save some cash. Trucks like ours are hard to find at a decent price, I looked for 5 months before I bought one in MS. Had to drive a ways but it was worth it for the price. Good luck man.
