Hate to say it, but I liked the jeep commercial. Where they crawl up the waterfall rock thing.

Also I spent all day restoring these headlights. Yesterday I changed out the fogs, both had cracked glass. Laminx on the headlight and fogs. I hope the lamin-X I put over them will keep the headlights from fogging up again.. and maybe the film over the fogs will protect them from rocks and stuff.
The 3m headlight kit went from 800 grit to 3000 grit. Need a 1500 in there to really get it crystal clear, which I did end up buying separately. Wish I took a before pic

Both Xpel and LaminX websites say their films protect from UV rays and are designed to prevent hazing and damage from road debris.

I got a springfield Saint 5.56 (the cheaper one) the other day... not happy with the trigger at all. Very gritty, with some creep. I already ordered an ALG QMS trigger to replace it. Don't fall for the 'nickel boron' hype. The $20 tapco G2 trigger that came stock on my AK WASR10 blows it out of the water, and that gun was $200 cheaper.

Any tips on cleaning the AR? This is my first AR.. and it doesn't seem nearly as easy to clean as my AK variant rifle

Awesome man! AR’s are kinda a pain but simple too, just make sure your real families with the break down of it and assembly which isn’t hard. Specifics to cleaning; pay attention to the star chamber after shooting. It will build up a lot of funk there if not cleaned regularly. It’s hard to get into but if you jam your pinkey into it and move it around it’ll probably come out with black on it. My best way is Q-tips with a lil CLP. I’d pay attention to your bolt and firing pin as well. Pipe cleaners work well to get into the little holes on it amd your firing pin will build up with carbon as well. Sometimes you may have to scrape parts to get excessive carbon off if you let it build up too much. Keep a slight lubricant on the inside of all moving parts after a good cleaning too.

Yeah.. I heard they like to run "wet"... so I just sort of sprayed CLP all over everything and wiped off the excess. I'm not really sure where to lube yet since all the parts are new and I don't know where the wear occurs. All I know is leave the firing pin and firing pin chamber dry.

Mainly keep a light coat of oils on the bolt itself and the internal workings of the bolt and you should be fine!

Mine sometimes seems a bit "gassy".. especially noticeable when I don't wear safety glasses. Wondering if mine is overgassed. I plan on putting in a heavier recoil spring to see if that helps

I just squeeze the bang switch until the freedom seeds stop. Never noticed the gas cycling really

My tantel is like that but I think it’s just a lot more noticeable b/c it shoots corrosive AMMO so the gases bother me more

Too much done to mine to sell it. But if we get another Democratic president I may consider it. Lol
