Man....this scares me a little. Makes me more hesitant to put in a locker.

Wonder the hardness rating of ECGS gears vs stock gears then.

I think I am limited slip already. At least, there's a nanny light on the dash that comes on when I push buttons

yours is electronically simulated LSD that uses brakes.
A real traditional hydraulic style LSD like my 05 Sport had was nicer than electronics.

Hydraulic limited slip????? You do realize that there are no Hydraulics that activate an LSD the LSD is constantly bathed in the grear oil. There are 2 main types either a clutch style or cone style. They work by causing slipage from the tires trying to spin at different speeds going around a corner. They are all mechanical there is nothing but mechanical advantage and physics that causes them to work.

The way the teeth are broken in consistently with the pinion being set either too deep or shallow I would have to say there was probably an issue with the actual gears in their casting. If you have some paint or something you could check the pattern to make sure the pattern is correct if you feel like they set them up wrong.

Shipped them back today. I called them today and explained the setup of my truck and asked if this gear setup is sufficient. He emphatically said they stood behind them and they were designed for running 35’s. And they would get them replaced ASAP.

    10-4.
Meant hydraulic as oil soaked mechanical goodness and not a new-fangled push button digital something.

    Not e-locker.
The "auto-LSD" plus traction control stuff that all comes from that squiggle lines button.

Oh yeah that stuff yeah I know how to drive so I can do that manually with my feet and putting the truck in the right gear etc. More technology that takes learning driving skill away from people like those damn cars that parallel park themselves.

    Lol. Good times.

I have a use or two. ;) Rather do the rear end again than tie rods in the dark at windrock....:D.

I was honestly pretty on edge that whole trip cause of the rear end work we did. It was pretty ballsy to install then go immediately on a 2 hour trip and wheeling. Plenty of confidence in my set up, but always that little voice in your head.

Wheeled like a champ! Even hit a good section of rock during that trip.
