    The Law
    39.17.1307 – Unlawful carrying

It is legal to carry a handgun openly or concealed in a vehicle that is privately owned, this includes boats and RVs. No permit is required and the firearm can be located anywhere in the vehicle but not on your person.

LOL. He showed us pictures of blown up Glocks at the end of the class. I looked it up, there's like a .0000001% chance of that happening. I thought the 75% of his class was quite humorous. He did update us on the sign laws, which I mentioned in the Nashville thread I think. I don't remember if we covered castle doctrine for vehicular situations.

Either way, class was cheap, we got a TN CCW handbook. We went over the important stuff, sprinkled in with Buford-isms and opinions.

I would not recommend leaving a firearm unattended in a vehicle though. Bad bad bad idea.

Pretty sure he told you he was responsible for dismantling the largest bomb in Nashville history at the strip club all by himself lol.

Didn’t say I agreed. It’s just law. There is a lot of laws I disagree with though.

I just got a ring video doorbell and I can't decide how I want it.

I can turn up the sensitivity and open up the 'motion zones' to get as much video recording as possible, in case an incident occurs I can comb back through the footage to see what happened. But of course it goes off every time a car goes by and we have lots of traffic on my street, so I turned off push notifications, so if someone is being extra fucking weird, I won't know till hours later.

On the other hand, I can close the zones and turn down the sensitivity and get push notifications to my phone. But it would only really help if someone was right at the front door.

    What do you guys think?

Pretty sure my phone has more surveillance on my personal data than a camera looking out of the front door that I only use to check my mail.

I'm not going to go cancelling my cell phone account and use pay phones though, now am I?

The only way to fix the NSA is to vote for people (cough, Rand Paul) to do something to stop it. Otherwise yes, there is literally nothing you can do to stop what's happening.

My truck was broken into in front of my house in broad daylight, window bashed in, while I was gone for all of 30 minutes. It took 7 hours for the police to show up. Talk about big government..

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
gun permit threw red flag when you called so police had to thoroughly investigate you before showing up at your home about the truck?

If you go and watch his old debates and interviews from the late 70s all the way up until today nothing he has said has he wavered on I even checked his voting record and found the same probably the only politician in history to stick to his convictions. Got to meet him when I was working his campaign and he was probably the most down to earth politician I have ever met. My current rep. doesn't like me too much because I actually pay attention and hold him accountable showed up at his office the other day to talk to him about current proposed bills and his reaction was you again I just laughed and said yep an educated populous is governments worst nightmare! He didn't take to kindly to that comment.

    Hey gang,
New to the group here. Born and raised around Knoxville.
I have an 2017 Inferno DCSB SR5. Currently looking for a bed shell if anyone knows of anything around. Prefer same color, but can get it color matched if the price is right.
    Thanks

The bed dimensions are very minor. When I was looking for a shell I went to an authorized dealer and had them put both 2nd and 3rd gen shells on my taco to demonstrate (both leer). The third gen is maybe a half inch shorter(height) than the 2nd. I’ve also ran a 3rd gen softtopper on my truck and couldn’t tell a difference at all.
