Might have some helicoils but not same size. Not sure if I can find a bolt to match.

If he’s gonna replace the pan anyways, might as well. Just gonna be a hell of a mess getting that pan off next weekend

We'll, if I don't have to get a new pan, prefer not to drop it.
    Plug won't come out though.

Not completely opposed, but I'm sure it would look much better powder coated. Might be worth the $ at the end of the day to me.

Bitch still won't come out. Pan is ~$100 but I'm out of non-destructive ideas to remove this plug. Not much metal there to try oversize tap if I did get the plug out.

I'd certainly vouch for the Fab Four. It's a very stout rear bumper. Mines been smacked on several rocks and rearend, with only some minor sratches to the paint.

As you'll probably have to replace the pug, I'd try drilling out the plug.

That's what I ended up doing. Going shopping for either helicoil or next size bigger plug today.

Plot twist, it was me that had the alternator death. Currently waiting on a ride from elkmont... have to get a new one in the morning. If only I had my spare with me :(

That sucks! My DD Avalons altenator failed coming home from work last week, I punched up directions to the nearest AutoZone into the GPS and it started working again LOL!! I tossed a spare off my junk Camry sitting in the drive along with some tools in the trunk and it's been fine since.

Moral of story try scareing your Toyota with shit Chinese parts, it may mend itself.

Anyone know what size jack stands to use to rest the truck on the frame and do a full suspension cycle front and rear?

yeah, I have an OEM spare at home, but this was an Autozone alternator. Probably not quite as resilient as the OEM, but I gave them my old one and they gave me a new one for free, no questions asked (surprisingly considering all the mud on it).. so other than time lost, I didn't spend any money fixing it

3 tons are a joke, I’m somewhat concerned about 6 tons being adequate... but 12 tons are HUGE...

    Looking for input

I can’t cycle my suspension with the tires on with my 6tons. But with the wheel off, they’re enough. But damn near maxed I’m pretty sure

Bigger will do nothing but help. My six ton stands aren’t tall enough without blocks under them.
