Notice how the stands are on the axle? I need them on the frame...

 

I was always told to not use cement blocks because of how they can crack & crumble. Wood or metal is what I was taught.

 

Also, get solid block if going this route.

I think the 6 ton stands should do the trick, but if you can afford the 12 ton stands why not...

 

No! Do not do this!

People get killed every year from bad advice like this when the blocks break. Cinder blocks are designed to bear a load 90 degrees to how you have those oriented. They aren’t made to bear weight at all how you have them in that picture.

If you need spacers, wood is the answer

Leaking front axle where it meets the diff. Anybody have experience with this? Seems straightforward enough before I dig into it this weekend
